![]() ![]() But yes, I agree, it depends on an individual's preferences. So I guess the developers have to always make a trade off between new features and resolution of bugs/glitches. Their Gmail integration was a bit buggy initially, but now has become perfect. They just released boards / Kanban feature on mobile apps, and it looks very good, though I won't be surprised if people start reporting bugs. TickTick, on the other hand, seems to be in a fast lane, always with some glitches here and there. (One thing I'd really urge them to fix are the broken subtasks). But in the last 2-3 years, and especially after the foundations update, I have encountered many more bugs and inconsistencies than I would be comfortable with. Todoist has always been slow in development, but it used to be almost perfect with very few bugs. I have to give it to Todoist that they have made an app that is a bit polished, but not truly. Now I have been reading on other forums how people are fed up with Todoist, so it’s all down to preference. It’s just plain, but for me it’s brilliant. Kanban View, albeit that’s fairly new to me in an app, seems to work well and many other features are brilliant, habits, Pomo, calendar, duration etc.īut I’m still using Todoist. They are more annoyances than anything serious, but just a little more care and it could be brilliant. c) The new function between Spark and TickTick, when transferring an email across, it works fine, but if you add a date to the email, it arrives in the TickTick inbox with no date. b) when clicking on sub tasks to complete a repeating task on the right side of the screen, the task correctly disappeared on the left side, but then on clearing the task from the right side with a left to right swipe, the task reappears momentarily back in today’s tasks with tomorrow’s date. They cram useful features in but many times it appears they are not fully tested and glitches/bugs appear.įor example: a) on iOS, the Red Counter does not work properly, and have to open and close the app to get a true idea of the number of tasks due for that day. Everything you need to know to get your Todoist up and running in minutes. ![]() Connect Todoist with tools like IFTTT, Alexa, Google Calendar, and more. I would respectfully say they are not clueless, but I do think they are careless. Download Todoist for iPhone, Android, Mac, Windows. ![]()
